Our stay at this historic farmhouse was incredible. With only three bedrooms, we had the entire place to ourselves, making it feel like our own private retreat. The decanters of port and sherry in the huge sitting room were a lovely touch, and the views of the nearby mountains over the grapevines were simply breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the level of service was outstanding. We can't wait to visit again!
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was if there were more vegan options available.

Stayed at a small and historic wine estate manor. Room was beautifully decorated and peaceful, with complimentary sherry and bath salts. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. Spectacular views of surrounding mountains and log fires in the evenings. Very comfortable and well-presented accommodation.
Lack of evening meals on-site, but town is easily accessible by car or taxi. The manor adjoins a busy daytime tourist location.

We had a blast exploring the Franschhoek Wine Tram and getting our wine-tasting on at La Motte Estate. The tram ride was so chill, and we got to hop off at different wineries, making it super convenient. And let me tell you, the wine at La Motte Estate was off the hook! We even bought a couple of bottles to take home. And if you're into golfing, there's that too, but we were too busy living our best life to check it out. it was an epic vacation and we had the time of our lives!
The only thing we wished for was a banging party scene at the hotel. Like, come on, we're party animals!

Lovely place - stayed in the Manor with only 3 spacious bedrooms - warm welcome from Martha and friendly staff - complimentary wine tasting was a nice touch - perfect breakfast in the courtyard - felt like family being welcomed home - nothing was too much trouble - extended our stay twice.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We were warmly greeted by the night porter who helped us with our bags, check-in, and showed us to our room. The room was fit for royalty - clean, spacious, and had the most comfortable bed we've slept in years! The staff, especially Marta. They even provided gluten-free options for breakfast.
